Kindergarten Graduation

Johnathan had his Kindergarten Graduation. His award was for "Great Participation". We went to lunch after the program and I asked him if he knew what great participation meant? He said NO, not really. I had to explain that it was someone who likes doing things and giving things a try. I said that it was a really good award to get. He said OK. I don't know if it made any impact or not. At least he knows what it means now.



Isn't he so cute. I can't believe how big he is getting.

Lauren's Preschool Program

Lauren's class is singing, "Ba Ba Black Sheep," she did such a good job singing. Her costume is a piece of wool. It is kind of hard to tell. She is standing in the back row with the pig tails and the one you can hear singing. Luke was so funny during the performance dancing and clapping to whole time. Both Mom and Lauren are very sad preschool is over this year.

Boys Camping Trip

Ryan and Johnathan went to the Father's and Son's camp out at Buffalo Springs Lake. They did not stay the night because it started raining. They still had a great time. Johnathan said, "He liked climbing to the top of a huge mountain all on his own."


Of course roasting the marshmallows are always a big hit too.

10th Anniversary

I can't believe that Ryan and I have been married for 10 years on 5-5-09. We got married on Cinco De Mayo so I could remember the day, no kidding. Proudly we have 3 wonderful kids, 2 bachelors degrees, 1 masters and 1 PhD. We have lived in 9 different homes no wonder I hate moving. We are so happy that we are staying in the same place for a couple more years. Unfortunately the kids were sick last Saturday when we wanted to go on a date to celebrate. We had a little party with the kids and it was very nice. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful supportive husband that I love more every single day. Our gift this year is a trip. We can't wait.

Lauren's Spring Ballet Recital

Notice Lauren doing the "hula" with her tutu before the music starts. She loves dancing and does it with a lot of emotion. It shouldn't come as a surprise that she loves to watch, "Dancing with the Stars". You can hear Luke fussing in the background while Ryan is trying to record the video.

Easter Bunny Day

We had a fun "Easter Bunny Day", as Lauren would say. The kids got some fun toys and clothes. Johnathan played with his Lego set all day. Thank goodness because Mom needed a nap. I think the kids favorite toy was their flashlights. Lauren loved her new dress she got to wear to church.
It is really hard to get all three of my kids in a picture at one time. These are the two kids that can stand still while I am trying to take a picture.

Easter Hunt and Lunch

On Saturday we had friends over for an Easter egg hunt and lunch. It was raining that morning so we had the hunt in the house. I stuffed 75 eggs this year. Ryan did a great job at hiding them everywhere.


Luckily Luke was napping when all this when down. Otherwise I don't think it would have been as successful. Johnathan found the golden egg but all the kids got prizes. I couldn't just give a prize to one and not another. It is better than listening to crying.
