She loved her cake because she got play with the doll afterwards.
Do you like Luke's hand prints on his belly? I kept thinking to myself I sure do hope that is mud. I know it wasn't the icing on the cake because that was blue. FYI. The shiner is from Lauren kicking him on the swing. He sure was having a good time getting all dirty.
Look at all the crazy kids. We had 7 girls, 9 boys, 4 babies and 5 mommies. I was very happy the weather was good so we could play outside.
Lauren going down the slip and slide. I think she is trying to get a drink. Ew, gross!
This is Johnathan's 1st tooth to come out. I accidentally threw the tooth in the garbage. I felt so terrible. It was in one of those clear plastic bags and the tooth was so small it was hard to see. Ryan helped recover the wrong by helping Johnathan write a letter to the tooth fairy explaining the problem. Johnathan was very excited to see that the tooth fairy did leave him a $1. I will have to be more careful next time.
Lauren is 4 and thinks she is a really BIG girl now. She is my little sweetheart.
She was so excited to get a new girly bike for her birthday. Her favorite thing about the bike is the basket of course because she can store her treasures in it.
When one kid wants to ride bikes all of them want to at the same time. This can be challenging. Luke is riding Johnathan's old hand-me down. Which he loves but can't touch the peddles yet. Luke doesn't actually go anywhere unless someone pushes him. He is just happy to sits on his bike with his helmet on and watches the other kids.
We went to Cancun, Mexico for our 10th anniversary. The resort was an all-inclusive, adult-only resort. This is a picture from our balcony. This one of seven pools. My favorite part was the 24 hour room service and breakfast on the patio every morning. The resort had 8 different restaurants we could eat at and great entertainment every night.
Ryan wanted to learn how to scuba dive. First he learned how to do it in the pool and then he did a real dive in the ocean. Shopping at a local Mexican market. I was very glad Ryan could speak Spanish.
Our favorite place to eat lunch. Last night before we go home to reality. It has been so fun to have a break from our crazy life. We both really would love to stay a little longer. Here is to many more wonderful years. Happy Anniversary!
