Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Here are the gifts I made for Teacher Appreciation Week. The kids had a fun time helping me make them and they couldn't wait to give them to their teachers. My friend showed me a fun website that has tons of fun kid craft ideas if you want to check it out. It is eighteen25.blogspot.com

Easter "Hopping" About

This Easter weekend was full of things to do. We also where very happy to have Grandpa and Grandma Whitby with us. We kept everyone "hopping" about. We had a lot of fun with them while they where here. Easter egg hunt, General Conference, soccer game and a picnic. My kids where really funny with these balloons. I can only tolerate them for one day then balloons have to go in the garbage.

Johnathan and Lauren both got new scooters. Lauren's has a special clip for her Barbie. Johnathan loved his and they both want to ride them all the time.

Luke has a new car he can drive with his feet. This is a good slow speed that I can keep up with him. He loved the cup holder on the side. He can put a drink, bubbles or what ever he needs.

Easter Egg Hunt

This is one of my favorite visitors our cousin Oliver. He is so fun to snuggle and so adorable. Next year he will be more in to the Easter egg hunt. This year he likes the remote the best.

Soccer Game and Windy Picnic

It is a special treat to have Grandpa and Grandma Whitby visiting our family. We don't get visitors very often so it is a treat when they get to come. They where able to go to one of Johnathan's soccer games.

Windy picnic. I was very determined to have a Saturday Easter picnic. I didn't care that there was 30 mile an hour wind. We needed to have a picnic because it was sunny, not raining and 70 degrees out. At the park it was really bad. All of our food kept blowing away. After everyone had something to eat we had a great time at the park. I am the wimp. My kids didn't even faze them.

One of our favorite parks is called "Rock Park" by the kids it has this large climbing rock in the middle that they love climbing up and down.

Visit Grandpa at Work

We visited my Dad at work in Austin. My mom goes with him and plays the piano in the front office. They are very happy and we are so excited to see what they have been doing at work.

Can you believe they have 10 exam chairs. They see about 100 patients a day. That is enough to keep very busy.

Zilker Park in Austin

Zilker park was so very cool. It has this little train ride we took around the park. It has a bunch of hiking and biking trails. I am in heaven I wish I could live by a park like this one.

We had to stop for lunch and the boys wanted to climb in the cool tree.

Trip to the Alamo

This is the River Walk in San Antonio. It was very cool place with restaurants and boat ride that you can take around the town.

For Spring Break we headed down south to Austin to visit my Parents who work down there. My Dad mentioned that he has never been to the Alamo so we drove an hour and 1/2 to San Antonio. The Alamo as great. The history behind it is very neat. It is where Texas won their independence from Mexico. Good history trip for the kids.

First Time Cheerleader

Lauren is taking cheerleading for the 1st time. She as finally found a place where she can yell as loud as she wants and it is a good thing. You might want to turn down your volume before viewing this video. The little girl with the pink bow in her hair is her best friend from preschool.
